Job Summary
CDW has a position available for a Breakfix Supervisor to become an integral part of our Operations leadership team and manage a team of professional warehousing operatives and/or repair engineers in one of our Break Fix Operations centres. Your role will involve overseeing the daily operations, ensuring that all processes are streamlined for maximum efficiency and that quality standards are consistently met. You will also be responsible for training and developing your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to best practices. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and inspire a team of skilled coworkers.
* Schedule work to ensure correct expectations are set and timescales are met.
* Maintain high housekeeping standards.
* Ensure the team within the Break Fix operations centre is working in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
* Create and follow accurate and efficient processes.
* Continuously develop and promote the Department and Team in line with the company’s vision for the future.
* Collaborate with other leaders to ensure all required items and orders enter and exit the department efficiently.
* Establish and maintain excellent internal and external service levels while identifying areas for improvement.
* Investigate and remediate issues and process failures, prioritizing customer expectations.
* Identify skills gaps and ensure training is completed and signed off according to defined processes.
* Conduct 1-to-1 meetings with team members.
* Implement annual performance plans with team members.
* Drive utilization to ensure the department is cost-effective and working to best utilize capacity.
* Work alongside our Coworker Success (HR) team to manage performance and any disciplinary procedures.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Leadership experience in a repair and logistics operation.
* Health and Safety experience in a similar environment.
* Performance management and HR-related experience.
* Experience working in a fast-paced technical environment.
* Understanding of an organizational structure from a commercial perspective.
* Experience as a configuration technician is an advantage.
* A passion for the IT industry, particularly in providing pre-delivery configuration of customer equipment.
* Understanding of the industry and the role that CDW plays, including its customer base.
* Business management skills with a commitment to high levels of customer service.
* Ability to manage competing pressures and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
