Permanent Part-Time Accounts Assistant job with a successful company in the Oldham area. Your new company An exciting opportunity to join an established family run business in the North Manchester area. This role offers hybrid working after the probation period and offers flexible working hours up to 25 per week across 4 or 5 days per week. Your new role Within your role, you will work alongside two additional finance officers, supporting you with the weekly and monthly payrolls. You will also assist with daily accounting duties such as purchase ledger management, supplier payments and bank reconciliation. You will assist the small team with any ad-hoc duties such as office administration and pay queries that might require troubleshooting of payslips. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will need to work in an accounts position for at least 1–2 years, in accounts payable and receivables with any exposure to payroll processing, an advantage (although training will be given). Sage 50 is desirable but not essential along with Excel. As a team player, the ideal candidate will not be afraid to step in with ad-hoc tasks when required and support the wider team.
