We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and dynamic Service Sales Manager – UK & Nordics, to drive and support the transformation and growth of the Carrier HVAC Service & Aftermarket business. The successful candidate will direct and coordinate the sales activities of the UK & Nordics Service business, including sales, pricing, business development and customer management.
The Service Sales Manager, UK & Nordics will be the key interface with the regional business units to ensure standardised execution and delivery against Global Service sales KPI targets. The role will be based in London and will require 40% travel in the country.
Responsibilities:
The Service Sales Manager, UK & Nordics will be responsible for delivering profitable orders growth for service agreements, parts, repairs, and modernizations whilst improving the effectiveness and efficiency in the UK & Nordics Service sales model.
1. Build and implement a sales growth strategy across multiple countries to acquire new clients and build a high growth service agreement business.
2. Strong focus on developing a recurring revenue sales model, utilizing connected services
3. Create and lead a high performing sales function across the UK & Nordics region and build up the existing sales team capability
4. Ownership of the UK & Nordics region sales budget, sales plans, and team performance to achieve rapid growth
5. Implement Account plans for key strategic customers in target segments and key vertical markets as well as introducing territory plans for sales reps.
6. Develop, maintain, and manage a strong UK & Nordics sales pipeline to ensure an accurate forecast of orders bookings, revenue, and growth opportunities
7. Implement new selling practices to maximize sales efficiency and seller productivity
8. Develop action plans to improve price performance and improving gross margins to contribute towards a sustained improvement in profit
9. Assist in the preparation, allocation, and management of sales budgets for target achievement
10. Assist in the deployment, improvement, and implementation of new sales and CRM tools to enhance sales effectiveness
11. Design sales policies and practices that align with the global service strategy
Requirements
12. Experience working in a service based, technology/equipment industry
13. Ideally have experience working in a similar level role
14. Knowledge of building services in a commercial environment is preferable
15. Extensive experience in leading large remote sales teams is essential
16. Skilled in professional value-based selling processes and techniques in a B2B environment
17. Strong communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams, work across company departmental heads and field service operations to ensure smooth sales coordination and orders handover
18. Proven problem-solving skills
19. Ability to work effectively in a matrixed corporate environment
20. Excellent time management skills to achieve sales objectives within set deadlines.
21. Good computer skills : knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Office and ability to navigate SalesForce.com, SAP, and other business applications
22. Bachelor’s degree / a Master's degree/post graduate qualification would be advantageous
