Keldmarsh Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our team. We are looking for an experienced person to work across afternoons, facilitating learning opportunities for children and providing targeted support in reading, writing and maths. The right person will have evidence of supporting children to make good progress and be someone who is able to work closely with teaching staff to deliver the right support. This role also includes midday supervision across lunchtimes.

We are looking for someone who can:
* Form strong relationships with children based on trust
* Engage and enthuse children with their learning
* Remain patient, calm and understand the needs of individual children
* Demonstrate high expectations so that children can reach their full potential
* Understand the importance of continuous provision and learning through play
* Understand how children make small steps of progress to reach an end goal
* Work well with teaching staff / SENCO to organise, facilitate and assess learning
Working hours are Monday - Friday 12:00 - 15:30
