Waste Engineer Tanker Driver

We operate 24/7 and as such, you are required to work flexible hours, weekends, and participate in an on-call rota. Full training, PPE, and use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our drainage engineers have the right tools, competency, and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes’ high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience.

Location: Iver Depot, Colnbrook, Berkshire (LMC)
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 50hrs
Salary: £18.00 per hour

About the Role:
Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer-focused people to join us in our Logistics Management Division, working to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.
* Delivering customer service
* Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished
* Comply with health and safety responsibilities, i.e., PPE/safe site setups protecting Lanes Group employees, the public, and other road users
* Provide flow management support and take ownership of job
* Utilise in-house software such as Big Change, Samsara, LMC driver app
* Provide support to your colleagues
* Conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment, and plant before/after use
* Report any defects or malfunctions in regards to training
* Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception
* Be aware of Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities toward them
* Any other reasonable ad hoc duties requested by management

About You:
The ideal candidate will be hardworking, respectful, and comply with health and safety standards.
You must have a minimum of an HGV Class 1 licence, completed the certificate of professional competence (CPC), and have an up-to-date digi tachograph card.
