The core responsibilities of a salaried GP at Dyneley House are: assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems through face to face, telephone and online consultations and home visits; the delivery of effective medical care to the practice population; the provision of services in line with the GMS contract; prescribing in line with national and local guidance; effective management of long-term conditions; processing of administrative tasks in a timely fashion - including referrals and repeat prescription requests; being part of the duty doctor rota; covering enhanced access evening clinics on a pro-rata basis; maintaining accurate clinical records in line with good practice; adhering to best practice in line with clinical guidance; contributing to the implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice; supporting the training of medical students; taking part in practice audits; participating in weekly and monthly practice meetings, clinical meetings, MDTs and SEA reviews. There may be a requirement to carry out other tasks from time to time.
