Moore and Tibbits is currently seeking a newly qualified Solicitor (or Chartered Legal Executive) to join our specialist Court of Protection Team based in Warwick.

Our specialist Court of Protection Team are experts in providing tailored legal advice and support to individuals who have diminished mental capacity. Our team pride themselves on their empathetic client-centric approach, ensuring their client's best interests are protected while they provide guidance relating to deputyship applications, statutory wills, and property & affairs management.
Day to Day:
As a Solicitor, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients in matters relating to their private property and financial affairs. You will provide support to the senior solicitor in the team on the more complex Deputyships, with the opportunity to take the lead on your own caseload of matters as well. We aim to provide the ideal environment for you to gain experience, expertise, and confidence at a sensible pace.

What we look for:
* A newly qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive who has ideally spent time within a Court of Protection Team as part of their training. The position may suit a candidate without this specialist team experience but who has worked within Private Client and Personal Injury teams and has a reasonable working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act.
* You will be calm under pressure, adopt a naturally proactive approach to your work, and have the ability to provide support to numerous colleagues across the team.
* You will be highly numerate, understand the importance of accuracy and comfortable working with budgets and accounts.
* You will be naturally caring, empathetic, and confident in engaging with very vulnerable individuals and their families who are often facing extremely difficult circumstances.
* You will be confident in building relationships within and outside of your immediate team and working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.
* You will have great communication skills, a passion for helping clients achieve their goals and the ability to think creatively.
