We are delighted to recruit to an Assistant Psychologist post within BeeU Children and Young People's Mental Health Service in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. This post will sit within the small and welcoming Learning Disability (LD) and Intensive Support (IST) teams. You will be working alongside a range of passionate, committed and skilled multi-disciplinary colleagues, under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist, to deliver a clinical service to children and young people with LD and/or autism, and their families, where there are behaviours of concern that present a risk to themselves or others and to their quality of life.
It is an exciting time to come and work in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin's Children, Young People and Families Services. We have received additional investment to improve the support available. As a result, we are pleased to be able to advertise a number of new roles both substantive and fixed-term posts. We can welcome clinicians who want to work in Children's Mental Health Services. Where people are interested in applying but would need to relocate, we can support with associated incentives. Where people are interested and passionate about working with children but have identified additional training, we may be able to train staff to develop the appropriate skills.
