Our client specializes in the design, manufacture, supply, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure with all associated civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and environmental activities within Ireland and the UK. They are recruiting for the following position to join them at their London Office:
JOB: ReVit CAD Technician
Office Based - Working Hours: 08.00 - 18:00 Monday - Friday
Essential Requirements:
1. Strong Revit user (AutoCAD 2D and 3D will be advantageous; Civil 3D a bonus but not essential).
2. Knowledge of ACC/BIM360, Navisworks, SharePoint, and general office tools.
3. Good understanding of Topographical and utility surveys, levels, and coordinate systems.
4. Civil/Structural, Mechanical, piping in construction/utilities experience (or some and a good understanding of the rest). Willingness to learn!
5. Water/Wastewater knowledge is a bonus but not essential; an understanding of it at very least.
6. Must have good attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
7. Modelling and layout work with safety and maintenance procedures in mind.
8. Construction/process plant background is a must.
9. Good communication skills, written and verbal.
Daily Tasks:
1. Generating 3D models and 2D drawings from sketches, engineer input, existing/As-Built drawings, surveys, and topos.
2. Developing model content for periodic reviews (ALM/HAZOP etc.).
3. Creating functional Revit families from vendor models and others.
4. Generating precise, neat 2D deliverables from these models and peripheral information received.
5. Creating Planning drawings, GA drawings, detail drawings, schedules, and sketches.
6. Doing As-built drawings and general drawing updates and revisions.
7. Maintaining project drawing register.
8. Drawing P&ID's, so an understanding of that will also be good.
