About us:
Whinfell School is located across two sites in Kendal, Cumbria. It serves as both home and school for students with outstanding facilities designed to enable learning, progress, and personal growth.
We have a proud tradition of supporting students aged 11-19 with Asperger’s Syndrome (high functioning Autism) and Complex Needs, helping them gain life skills, qualifications, and confidence for independence.
What we need from you:
We are seeking committed, empathetic, and engaging care/support workers who will deliver positive behaviour support, empowering our young people to make positive changes, develop self-regulation skills, and gain lifelong independence.
This role offers the chance to work collaboratively with trained professionals across our multidisciplinary team within a successful educational organization.

Sleep-in allowance of approximately £[amount] per annum, based on 2 sleep-ins per month.
