Operational Excellence Co-Ordinator Fixed Term Contract (July 2025) As an Operational Excellence Co-Ordinator, in this challenging and varied role and part of the Operational Excellence team, you’ll be supporting projects that are in line with the manufacturing strategy and are imperative to the group objectives / success. Alongside designing and deploying methodologies and processes to support the delivery of performance improvement projects in line with the manufacturing strategy. The role is mainly site based but will have a requirement to work along side the Excellence Central Team to support the establishment of a continuous Improvement culture by reducing non-value adding activities across the site and wider business. Role Responsibilities: Responsible for working to HSER standards using all Leadership in action tools Responsible for meeting all legislative Health and Safety standards Develop, implement, and manage processes for the collection, disposal, recording and publication of waste performance Ensure best practice is embedded for waste segregation and disposal. Through Waste Data Capture granular data, identify negative efficiencies trends related to operator or machine inefficiencies. Ensure high profile waste walks are in place. Drive the use, understanding and compliance of group waste best practices and SOP’s. Ensure Leadership involvement through specifying process confirmation checks Identify and prioritise opportunities to reduce waste in line with site objectives Own the site waste improvement plan, coordinating projects with Production, Engineering or other departments as required. Lead projects to reduce waste Ensure standards are updated in line with improvements Builds good working relationships with site teams to train, educate and engrain the culture of waste reduction What are looking for: Analytical skills required Knowledge of problem solving and improvement methodology Capable of implementing and leading improvement and loss elimination initiatives Experience of working in Corrugated manufacturing environment Good communication skills required.
