Job summary An exciting opportunity exists for a full time Radiology booking co-ordinator/receptionist to join our team. The Radiology Booking Office provides a patient focused and responsive contact point for patients, ensuring radiology appointments are booked within the specified time limits for a range of imaging modalities. Main duties of the job Radiology Booking Co-ordinators will manage delegated responsibility in operating a full booking process, receiving paper and electronic referrals for Radiology specialties. Each Booking Co-ordinator will have a lead responsibility for clinic management for a group of Radiologists/Specialties. Booking Co-ordinators will be expected to provide cross cover to other modalities in the absence of colleagues and will be expected to work on a rota basis covering NHS/Private patients bookings, imaging exchange and reception.
