Job Summary
The quality assurance (QA) Officer helps to ensure that processes, procedures, and products meet industry and company standards, design specifications, and customer satisfaction measurements.
39 hours per week
Location : Stoke on Trent (multiple sites)
Salary : Maximum £30,000.00 per annum
ISO9001 Auditor Desirable
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Assist in delivery of the Integrated Management System (IMS) Strategy by monitoring a range of datasets and ensuring actions are completed in a timely manner.
2. Be a visible ambassador for commitment to quality improvements.
3. Feedback opportunities for quality improvements in relevant areas to the Head of EHSQ & Facilities.
4. Assist and complete investigations into known quality issues collecting various data sets and observations.
5. Support quality improvement projects led by the Head of EHSQ & Facilities generating plans and proposals.
6. Monitor and report on quarantine compliance.
7. Assist with BCORP Recertification.
8. Where required check compliance against Product Safety Standards and advise of any regulatory changes including import and export considerations.
9. Scanning of key documentation and recording in line with naming rules.
10. Update historical data and standardise recordings.
11. Generate and analyse historical and current testing statistical data.
12. Maintain and co-ordinate external testing routines.
13. Complete internal auditing in line with ISO standards.
14. Monitor and maintain internal IMS Auditing Schedule and actions.
15. Assist in external audits where required.
16. Provide input with regards to Quality change management projects.
17. Complete internal technical testing. Record, maintain and analyse results providing insights into improvement initiates.
18. Work with relevant internal teams with checking trials, auditing quality of incoming and sourced / licenced products.
19. Generate and maintain lessons learnt documentation and where possible assist with actions.
20. Create and update Standard Operating Procedures with regards to Quality.
21. Update operational process flows.
22. Monitor the Process Improvement Tracker and manage actions.
23. Organise and co-ordinate calibrations for equipment on site.
24. Collate data from across the business to help inform quality objectives and targets.
25. Minute and circulate Quality Meeting minutes.
26. Generate quality data and documents for relevant managers and visual management boards.
27. Deliver training on changes to internal quality processes and procedures.
28. Provide quality data for monthly board reports to Head of EHSQ & Facilities.
29. Manage and communicate the Production Quality Improvement Trials.
30. Quality document generation and maintenance.
31. Complete supplier quality evaluations and report on findings.
