CK Group seeks a technical compliance consultant to join their team, offering a 12-month contract. The role involves working closely with clients to ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Undertake thorough product assessments against relevant legislation and standards.
* Conduct in-depth research on materials and their applications across various industries.
* Prepare detailed compliance documentation, including technical files, test data, and risk assessments.
* Provide high-quality regulatory advice to diverse clients, encompassing manufacturers, trade associations, and regulators.
* Manage projects effectively, meeting cost and time constraints.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending industry events and promoting our services.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as chemistry, materials science, engineering, or environmental science.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
* Substantial experience in fields like chemistry, materials science, engineering, and environmental science.
* Knowledge of regulations such as REACH, RoHS, WEEE, or Ecodesign would be advantageous.
* Familiarity with manufacturing techniques and materials used in electrical and electronic products would be beneficial.
* Previous technical consultancy experience would be viewed favorably.
* Progress towards Chartered Status or security clearance would be desirable.
