Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working for a fantastic business in Leeds as they look to recruit a Payroll Specialist into their team on a full time, permanent basis.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently manage the end-to-end payroll process in accordance with the payroll timetable, using the in-house payroll system (Miracle and Sage50) Liaise with international payroll partners to facilitate accurate payroll processing where applicable Process payroll changes including new joiners, leavers, holiday pay, overtime, absence, and maternity Ensure full compliance with HMRC legislation, including PAYE reporting and statutory obligations Administer employee benefits such as pensions, company vehicles, and life insurance Investigate and reconcile all payroll discrepancies Prepare month-end payroll reports for the Accounts team to support financial reconciliation Produce statutory year-end documents such as P60s and P11Ds Maintain and regularly update payroll process documentation Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries across the company Provide administrative support to the Payroll and HR teams Audit the payroll and HR systems to ensure accuracy and consistency of data Person Specification: Experience in processing payroll (PAYE) end-to-end Proficiency in using payroll systems Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Exceptional attention to detail and organisational capabilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage confidential information with discretion If this looks like a role of interest then please get in touch ASAP.
