Purchase Ledger Clerk Permanent, Full time London (NW10) £24,000 - £30,000 per annum Our client is looking for a full time, Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their growing team in London. They have been a local service provider since 1992 delivering high quality property maintenance and refurbishment services across London and the Southeast for the public sector and private landlords. Duties Receiving and recording invoices and statements. Preparing and accepting invoices for payments: Checking invoices against monthly statements, proof of delivery and purchase orders, and making sure they were issued accurately Matching and filing invoices, receipts and making sure invoices reflect goods and services received Issuing queries to the suppliers and other business departments to clarify potential discrepancies related to checked invoices Answering queries from suppliers and other business departments about accounts payable or payments made Requesting statements and delivery receipts from suppliers when missing Preparing spreadsheets representing monthly invoices and cost for each supplier. Maintaining payments records to respective spreadsheets. Keeping track of credits owed to the company. Preparing and providing VAT documentation for posting (quarterly). Ad hoc duties related to Purchasing Team (e.g. placing orders, raising purchase orders etc.).
