Key Responsibilities:
As an SEMH Support Staff member, you will:
* Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, both one-on-one and in group settings, to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
* Collaborate closely with teachers to implement strategies that help manage behavior and emotional regulation, ensuring each child can engage meaningfully in classroom activities.
* Support students during transitions, playtimes, and throughout the school day to reinforce positive social interactions and emotional growth.
* Help develop and deliver personalised learning plans and behavior support plans in partnership with the teaching and SEN teams.
* Promote resilience, self-confidence, and positive decision-making skills, acting as a trusted role model for students.
