Overview of role
Location: Stockport
We are looking for qualified Class 1 and 2 Delivery Drivers who will support our Safety-First agenda to join our expert team of drivers at our Stockport Site.
Class 2 work involves mainly multi-drop deliveries to our customers' stores, working an 8-week rotating pattern 5 days on 3 days off. This includes weekends and bank holiday work, starting at 3 am daily.
Key Accountabilities
What we are looking for: -
* You will be a skilled driver with work experience in a similar industry, such as food distribution or retail logistics.
* Hold an up-to-date CPC card.
* As part of our team, you will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to excellent customer service. Your safe and courteous driving on the road every day will be a source of pride for us.

* Reporting to a Transport Front Line Manager, who oversees the day-to-day operations of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery and collection of all goods to/from our customers. As well as providing accurate information with a driver debrief.
* In a customer-facing role, you will be a strong ambassador from Allied Bakeries, demonstrating a highly professional service.
We'd prefer that you have relevant industry experience but will consider those who are qualified drivers without relevant experience providing you can demonstrate the aptitude to put safety first and deliver excellent service to our customers and passion for our Kingsmill, Allisons and Sunblest brands.

* An annual basic salary of Class 1 £37,491, Class 2 £36,539
