The Role:
We’re seeking a Digital Content Writer/Journalist to join our editorial team to produce content across our popular online publications. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about news, digital content, the property sector and making an impact in a dynamic industry.
In this role, you'll write and edit stories, create engaging headlines, and optimise content for SEO, all while helping to elevate the voice of our brand. You'll play a key role in producing high-quality content that drives engagement, informs our readers, and positions us as leaders in our sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
* Content Creation: Write, edit, proof and publish compelling news stories, features, and updates across our digital platforms.
* SEO & Optimisation: Implement SEO best practices across all content to increase visibility, drive traffic, and improve search rankings. Ensure content is optimised for both search engines and our digital audience.
* Headlines & Copywriting: Craft sharp, attention-grabbing headlines and ensure all content is digital-friendly, easy to read and compelling.
* Social Media & Promotion: Promote content across social media channels, driving engagement and traffic. Help create engaging email campaigns that connect with our audience.
* Website Management: Use our website builder to create, edit, and optimise content pages, ensuring a seamless user experience and visually appealing presentation.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven Writing & Editing Skills: Strong experience in digital news writing and editing with excellent attention to detail and a natural storytelling ability.
* SEO Savvy: Solid understanding of SEO principles, including content optimisation and on-page SEO techniques.
* Multimedia Skills: Ability to use multimedia assets (images, videos, graphics) to complement written content and create engaging, dynamic digital experiences.
* Fast-Paced Editing: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, editing copy quickly while ensuring high-quality, accurate content.
* Digital Tools: Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and website builders. Basic HTML knowledge is a plus but not essential.
* Deadline-Driven: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Desirable (But Not Essential):
* Podcasting: Experience with recording, editing, and promoting podcasts is a bonus.
* HTML Basics: A willingness to learn or existing knowledge of basic HTML for editing website content.
