An opportunity to join a leading solar energy distributor who are looking to expand operations within the UK. The role: This position will oversee sales operations in Scotland and will further contribute to driving sales growth through building and developing relationships with key customers. The Sales Manager is a crucial role within the organisation and will be responsible for implementing the sales strategy, ensuring that this is aligned with wider business objectives. Further responsibilities will include: Expanding the current customer base by identifying new business opportunities - with a key focus on Glasgow and Edinburgh. Mapping areas for market growth through monitoring competitor activities and market trends. Providing regular sales forecasts to the senior leadership team, through maintaining and accurate sales pipeline. Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams as required (eg – Marketing, Product Development) to ensure that wider strategies are aligned. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate: At least 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the solar energy sector. A track record of successful sales. The ability to build and develop customer relationships, partnered with evidence of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or another related discipline.
