Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
2. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards and legislation relating to field
3. Knowledge of relevant drawing standards
4. Strong knowledge in the production of technical documentation for new products and equipment
5. Detailed design knowledge of mechanical mechanisms
6. Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience
Role Information:
1. Prepare and supervise the preparation of mechanical engineering designs, drawings, specifications, schedules, quantity and cost estimates
2. Maintain the content of design documentation throughout the project life cycle
3. Manage the design development throughout the design life cycle for new and modified equipment
4. Support on the production of configuration documentation for modifications
5. Support new design implementation
6. Produce condition reports for fault-finding
7. Review maintenance regimes and activities
8. Check others work to ensure design deliverables are met to the required standards
