Job Details
Good housing impacts on many aspects of our daily lives. It is a basic human right that encourages a sense of community, helps economies thrive, and creates an environment people want to protect.
We need you to help us meet our aim of providing everyone with access to good quality, affordable housing that meets their needs and aspirations. We want to improve the quality of life for people across Fife and work with various organizations, including tenants' groups, to make that happen.
As a Housing Management Officer, you will be part of an Area Housing Team that delivers improved services. You will be responsible for a specific neighborhood, ensuring high-quality, well-run estates through the assessment of individual, property, and neighborhood needs, followed by the development of solutions ranging from prescribed processes to self-developed initiatives. You will deliver high-quality landlord services to build stable communities by sustaining tenancies and engaging with customers and partners to make required improvements. You will provide high standards of customer care while encouraging local people to maintain estate standards.

If you meet the essential qualification criteria outlined below, we'd like to hear from you:
We are looking for an individual who has knowledge of the Scottish Secure and Short Scottish Secure Tenancies and experience working with a range of supports available to tenants. You will have experience of partnership working when managing tenancies. You will be committed to assisting tenants in sustaining their tenancy while also taking action against any breaches of tenancy.
You will need good time management, communication, and organizational skills. You will also possess IT skills.
You will be educated to SCQF level 5 or equivalent, and you will require (if you do not already hold this) to undertake the SVQ4 in Housing and Homepoint 2 qualifications.
