Responsibilities: - As the Lead Security Architect, I will provide a cohesive, consistent, and managed approach to professional Cyber support for various programs and projects. My main responsibilities will include: - Coordinating Cyber Security advice and activities in support of Air Command and Space Command Equipment Programme Senior Responsible Owner(s). - Assuring, advising, and supporting Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) and Defence Digital (DD) regarding security products and documentation. - Managing Air Command contracts to provide additional professional support to programs as needed, including the production of a Security Aspects Letter (SAL). - Advising on including appropriate security measures and controls in Air’s Digital Architecture. - Overseeing Cyber Risk Assessments and Defence Assurance Risk Assessment Tool (DART) documentation. - Overseeing pen-test scoping and post-testing remediation. - Ensuring compliance with program/project policies. - Leading security considerations in innovative areas such as AI and Quantum Computing. - Maintaining working relationships with MOD Cyber Security Design Authority and other key agencies. This role may also involve future line management responsibilities. Exceptional candidates may receive additional compensation through a Digital Skills Allowance of up to £15,300 per annum, assessed during the interview process against four core technical skills.
