Mahalo is a fast growing speciality fine food and drink wholesaler supplying hundreds of independent farm shops and delis with outstanding artisan products. We’re looking for a skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations in Brentwood. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, dynamic business and play a key role within it.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of all warehouse operations and ensuring all processes run smoothly, including:
Goods In Management
Overseeing the receipt, inspection and storage of incoming goods
Ensuring that goods are booked in accurately and efficiently, accompanied by the appropriate regulatory documentation
Liaising with the head office team regarding incoming supplier deliveries
Preparing and managing the goods in schedule and the team members required for timely receipting
Reporting damages and logging these with the appropriate documentation
Inventory Management
Ensuring stock inventory accuracy with regular stock checks
Maintaining an orderly product location system and ensuring the space is being used efficiently
Managing stock rotation as appropriate and minimising wastage
Ensuring Mintsoft is kept up to date with stock movements
Warehouse Management
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse
Ordering and managing inventory for packing materials
Maintaining a clean and professional facility
Team Management
Lead, train and supervise a team of warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Order Management
Ensuring accurate and efficient picking and packing of orders, accompanied by the appropriate regulatory documentation
Liaising with third party logistics providers to ensure timely order collections and deliveries to customers
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience of warehouse management and inventory management systems - particularly Mintsoft
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance standards
Previous experience of people management, supervision and training
Knowledge of modern warehouse operations and best practices
Excellent computer skills, comfortable with GSuite, Slack etc
Strong written and verbal skills
Full UK driving licence
Forklift licence
Key Details
Full time working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm - no evenings, nights or weekends
