A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Representative to join a UK known concrete/cement manufacturer in the UK Area!
With no day ever being the same, the Sales Representative role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Monitor current customers and identify potential new customers through routine visits, technical support, analysis, technical advice, etc.
* Carry out market research and prospecting activities - analysis and monitoring of competition, identifying market trends in terms of products and prices to support management in the decision-making process.
* Assist in the preparation of quotes and submission of tenders.
* Comply with quality, safety, environmental policies, regulations, processes, and internal standards in force.
* Implement innovative sales strategies to enhance market presence and achieve targeted business objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Knowledge and Experience selling cement - packed or bulk - Necessary
* Experience selling slag (GGBFS, by-product of steel) - Desirable
* Experience importing cement and strong knowledge of import rules and regulations.
* 5+ Years experience working in the concrete/cement industry.
* Must be happy with travelling and must have a clean driver’s license.
