Job summary This is a great opportunity for you to join a busy and supportive People Advisory Team where you will have an opportunity to advise managers and staff across the Trust on all aspects of HR casework and queries. The role is demanding but rewarding as you will also support enquiries via telephone and email. Main duties of the job You must have excellent administrative and time management skills as you, along with another colleague will be responsible for arranging all formal people related meetings. In addition to this you will need good skills in dealing with a range of callers from across the Trust and outside the Trust such as union representatives. You must be able to explain HR policies and their application to our customers (staff and managers in the Trust) and do this in a clear, helpful and supportive manner. We are not expecting you to have detailed knowledge of Trust policies, but you must have a very good understating of good people practices and be clear about the Trust values. About us The Trust employees over 9000 staff and the People Advisory Team support managers and staff by supporting all formal meetings and advise and guidance on policies and good HR practices. We are located in Beacon House on the Gloucester Royal Hospital site, but will be expected to work and attend meetings at Cheltenham General Hospital on occasion.
