Electrical Supervisor

Your new role
1. Manage a team of shift engineers, day and night.
2. Check quality of work over.
3. Allocate members of the team to specific jobs.
4. Manage and check the service, maintenance & repairs on a range of electrical and building services equipment.
5. PPMS & Reactive works.
6. Effectively communicate to the team on any tasks that may have a critical or business impact.
7. Utilisation of the mobile working device, ensuring that all times are captured correctly for each task, alongside providing detailed notes in the comments section.
8. To act as an escort/guide/supervisor for any contractors coming to site.
9. Approve quotes for materials needed for the engineers on site.
10. Ensure that all maintenance tasks carried out meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
11. Identify any issues when required on fabric issues, electrical systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning issues.
12. Manage and maintain stock levels of materials.
13. Undertake an AP/CP role, following suitable training within the relevant trade discipline.
14. Ensure plant areas, workshops, stores, and changing/rest areas are kept to the highest level of housekeeping.
15. Physical fitness, with the ability to lift 20kg through manual handling.
16. A high level of initiative, ensuring that proactive maintenance is undertaken or supported.
17. A smart, presentable, uniformed appearance, presenting in a professional manner.
18. Advanced communication skills with a full understanding of customer needs & expectations.
19. Ability to comprehend and act upon both verbal and written instructions.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, client representatives, and key stakeholders.
2. Behave in a professional manner at all times.
3. Ability to respond quickly and effectively to client requirements.
4. Good understanding of key personnel of the client staff.
5. Good knowledge of safe systems of work.
6. Basic IT skills (Web Quote, Email, CAFM, PDA, etc.).
7. Minimum of City and Guilds (or NVQ) at Level 3 within an Electrical qualification.
8. Served an apprenticeship within the Electrical trade.
9. Good problem-solving abilities.
