Job Overview Due to continued growth, Horizon Property Support Ltd are looking for a new Security Installation Engineer to join their team. You will be installing and commissioning security systems; working to industry standards. Maintaining good relationships with customers whilst working across commercial and public sector sites. You will be providing extensive engineering support to an array of diverse installation projects along with back up maintenance support with the ability to identify and rectify problems before they occur. Duties and Responsibility You will be expected to be versatile, with multiple duties and responsibilities, including:- Service & Install Security Alarms, Access control systems, CCTV & Public Address Systems. Provide technical support to customers & fault find any problems. Deliver exceptionally strong customer service, in line with the end using customers expectations. Influence & support customers in making security product choices for their sites, ensuring the products they choose will meet their needs. Working to set targets & set install timescales. Working on your own & in small teams (varies due to scope of works). Skills and Experience Security products installation / servicing, access control & alarm systems installation & servicing / maintenance experience. To ensure sites are compliant, you will be conversant with NSI PD6662 for Intruder Alarms, NCP 104 & BS EN 62676 for CCTV and NCP 109 for Access Control. Multiple communications protocols utilising LAN/WAN & POE. To Service the appropriate devices, working safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and the loss of unused materials. Ensuring your time is managed efficiently and jobs are prioritised correctly. Correctly complete Engineer work reports, handover certificates/or checklist as appropriate. Essential Criteria Experience within Security industry Full UK Driving licence (van provided). R easonable level of fitness with the a bility to lift and climb ladders. Desired Criteria Knowledge/experience of:- Access Control. Intruder Alarm Systems. Fire Alarm Systems. Intercom Systems. CCTV and Public Address Systems.
