About Us
This is a chance to be part of an innovative, newly created Adolescent Service that unites services for young people who are missing, at risk of exploitation, or involved in gang culture. We're bringing together Social Workers and Adolescent Practitioners in a collaborative environment focused on positive outcomes. Using cutting-edge research and best practices, we aim to transform how we support adolescents across Surrey.
About the Role
In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes Youth Justice, Missing, Intervention Support, and other key services. Working with young people at risk, you will create effective, contextual safeguarding plans that address risks beyond the home. Surrey's new approach to safeguarding adolescents involves collaboration with Education, Health, Police, and other partners, allowing for an enriched, cohesive support system for vulnerable youth.
What We're Looking For
To be successful, you will:
* Be a Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with completed ASYE.
* Have experience or strong interest in working with adolescents at risk of exploitation, gang involvement, or other contextual safeguarding issues.
* Demonstrate excellent assessment, intervention, and court work skills (where necessary).
* Have a valid UK driving license and vehicle access, as this role will involve travel across both urban and rural areas of Surrey
