We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic Premises Manager to join a vibrant team in the school.
The position requires Full-time availability, 35 hours per week, 08:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.

1. Ensuring that the school site is maintained in a safe, clean and secure condition as required, and undertaking such tasks as may be necessary for effective site management
2. Carrying out basic cleaning, building maintenance and repairs including emergency
3. Carrying out daily, weekly, monthly tasks in the agreed time frame
4. Understanding your role and responsibility within the organisation's health and safety structure
5. Treating all information acquired through your employment, both formally and informally, in strict confidence
6. Managing the premises budget and associated reporting
7. Basic understanding of how fire, electrical, and mechanical system works
8. Keeping all grounds and buildings secure including acting as a key holder for locking up
9. Willing to undertake development courses and progress within the organisation

Requirements / Skills for this role:
16. Experience of working in a school or academy setting as a site assistant or caretaker
17. Knowledge of school site processes
18. 2 recent professional references
19. Right to work in UK (Essential)
20. An enhanced DBS on the update service
21. Experience of using an MIS system
22. Good communication skill and attention to detail
The successful applicant will be subject to appropriate checks and undertake an enhanced DBS and where appropriate to the post, a requirement to complete a Childcare Disqualification declaration.
