Logistics Operations Manager £52,000 - £54,912 We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Operations Manager to oversee our Operational Logistics shifts. This role involves the proactive development and training of shift personnel, managing daily workloads, and ensuring compliance with Part 145, MAA industry, and transportation regulations. Attend daily Business and Maintenance Operational briefings, providing guidance on priorities and targets. Respond to and manage AOG and Defect requirements in line with Maintenance Control. Oversee goods inwards, picking/issuing, and transportation processes. Ensure all processes are documented and compliant with MOE, Part 145, MAA regulations, and industry best practices. Adhere to company compliance processes and address any audit findings within deadlines. Conduct performance reviews and appraisals for Senior Stock Controllers and Stock Inspectors. Ensure all components are handled and processed in accordance with Part 145. Collaborate with the Logistics Inventory Manager to ensure parts are stored in a bonded warehouse. Experience managing a Logistics team in an MAA regulated environment or under Part 145 regulations. Desirable: Experience in MoD Supply Chain Environment. Proficient in procedural writing, auditing, and process improvement in accordance with Part 145 regulations. Understanding of Maintenance activity in both Line and Base Maintenance environments. Demonstrable experience in best practice goods in/out and pre-load processes. Understanding of Aircraft on Ground and Defect processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
