About the Nursery: This nursery is a vibrant and welcoming space for children aged 0 to 5 years. About the Role: As a Fluent Welsh Nursery Assistant, you will support the Lead Educators in delivering engaging activities that promote children’s development across all areas. You will help create a safe and stimulating environment, ensuring children are happy, engaged, and learning through play. Your role will involve using Welsh as a primary language of communication, interacting with children, maintaining a clean and organised space, and building positive relationships with parents and carers. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the delivery of age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and bilingual development. Supervise and engage with children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Support the Lead Educators in maintaining a positive and inclusive environment. Help with daily routines, including meals, nap times, and personal care. Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress and well-being. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery. Requirements: Fluency in Welsh (essential). Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is desirable. A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
