Systems Administrator

Applause IT are working a business who are seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Administrator with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and supporting Windows environments, Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD, Active Directory, and server infrastructure. This role includes occasional travel to our regional offices and client locations. Key Duties:
1. Windows Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments to ensure they perform optimally and securely.
2. Microsoft Office 365: Manage and support Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
3. Azure Active Directory (AD): Oversee Azure AD, including user and group management, identity protection, and conditional access.
4. Active Directory: Maintain and troubleshoot on-premises Active Directory environments, including Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
5. Windows Autopilot: Implement and manage Windows Autopilot for device provisioning and configuration.
6. System Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor system performance and take proactive measures to prevent disruptions.
7. Security and Compliance: Ensure that all systems are secure and in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
8. User Support: Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated issues, ensuring quick resolution and excellent customer service.
9. Travel: Travel to regional offices and client sites as necessary to provide on-site support and ensure smooth IT operations.
Qualifications:
10. Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a Systems Administrator role.
11. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Windows Server, Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD, Active Directory, and Windows Autopilot.
12. Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
13. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
14. Certifications: Relevant certifications (, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are a plus.
15. Travel: Willingness and ability to travel as required.
