Air Products is a world leading industrial gas company providing all sort of gases used in daily life. The Energy transition and Sustainability are key elements of our strategy. We manage projects in carbon capture and operate the world’s largest gasification projects. We invest in the production and distribution of green- and blue hydrogen and are developing a Hydrogen for mobility infrastructure by building and operating Hydrogen fuel stations.
As we continue to grow, we need a Project Coordinator/Administrator to join our European Standard Plants team based in our office in Crewe.
This team is involved with the project execution of compact on-site Nitrogen, Oxygen and Hydrogen generators and we have recently expanded into hydrogen purification and refuelling station technology, offering the successful candidate a prime opportunity to get involved with game changing hydrogen technology and infrastructure where you can really make a positive contribution to achieving a carbon zero future.
As the Project Coordinator you will support product supply projects by:
* Compiling and maintaining vendor and project documentation and certification in project files, equipment dossiers and manuals.
* Assisting Project Engineers in compiling project reports to ensure projects remain within authorised budgets and schedules.
* Administering projects within SAP (raising/ releasing, tracking and updating).
* Ordering and receiving materials from AP stock locations and AP approved vendors.
* Ordering stock from vendors both within UK and overseas, dispatching orders for materials, equipment and spares to Air Products engineering organisations around Europe and further afield as required.
As the Project Coordinator you will have:
* Previous experience working within a fast-moving industrial business in a similar role.
* Well organised and methodical, with good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
* Self-motivated team contributor and able to work autonomously.
* Experienced in expediting documentation and certification from suppliers.
* Possess a track record of dealing with regulatory bodies and / or permit applications within the industry you are working within.
* Familiar with company work processes, corporate policies and procedures.
* IT literate including Excel and SAP (or equivalent as training can be given).
