SH1 Papakura to Drury Stage 1B (Stage 1B) is part of a staged upgrade to improve SH1 and adjacent multi modal travel reliability, access, and safety. Stage 1B ties into Stage1A, NIMT Bridges, and completes a combined 6km of three laned SH1 in both directions, six new motorway bridges and multiple interfacing local roads, over motorway bridges, Shared User Paths (SUPs) and upgraded utilities.

We are looking for a Senior Surveyor to join our team. Be an integral part of our team and enjoy liaising closely with internal customers and external contractors, designers and machine operators, as well as mentoring junior surveyors and survey technicians. You'll provide day to day practical survey solutions, create designs on CAD software, complete data processing and asbuilt reporting, ensuring precision set out for our project in accordance with project guidelines.
What we need from you
Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding and working knowledge of survey methodologies. You will have a proven track record in the completion of major projects with exposure to roading and services work and be ready for your next challenge to further your career. As well as being keen to be part of this exciting project, you will also be able to demonstrate the following:
* An appropriate tertiary qualification in either Surveying or Engineering with additional experience in surveying
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar level role
* The ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels
* Strong commitment to our Living Safely health and safety policy
* Excellent communication and experience dealing with both clients and the general public
* Experience preferred in Auto Desk Civil 3D, knowledge of 12D and Trimble business center and Arc GIS will also be an advantage
* Ability to maintain and verify the survey control network in accordance with the project requirements
* Management of survey data and contributing to drawing asbuilts and accurate monthly quantity measures
* A Full, clean NZ Class 1 Driving Licence
