Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented MI&F Technical Assistant to join our Management Information and Funding team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of college data and systems, supporting key processes such as timetabling, student records, and compliance with funding requirements.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Coordinate and maintain timetabling data, resolving room clashes and ensuring appropriate accommodation for college events such as enrolment and examinations.
* Register learners with the Learner Records Service, manage Unique Learner Numbers, and maintain accurate records within internal systems.
* Perform data imports, exports, validations, and complex corrections using database tools and SQL.
* Support system upgrades by testing, logging changes, and addressing issues as needed.
* Provide technical and administrative support, including managing database user access, processing departmental orders, and preparing documentation for audits and inspections.
* Assist in key planning, timetabling, and data preparation for statutory returns (e.g., ILR, Student Loans).
