Job Description
Working alongside the Regional Security Director for this market leading niche multinational, we are looking for an innovative security professional to support the development of tools, methodology and solutions for the region and, more broadly, a strong regional security culture.
This role would potentially suit someone in a niche role, who’s looking to move to a more generalist security management position. Any knowledge in generative AI programmes would be advantageous.
Role objectives and responsibilities:
* Liaising with country leadership teams or security points of contact to support security risk management programmes and assessments, aimed at prevention and efficient response to security related risks.
* Coordination and project management for cross functional security initiatives aimed at increasing organisational resilience (e.g. site/Country risk assessment, environmental activism, supply chain security, business continuity planning, CCTV/AI, etc.)
* Developing an intelligence network and maintaining relationships with law enforcement, government security agencies, intelligence providers and private security, to ensure adequate risk prevention as well as for timely and efficient response to crisis scenarios.
* Supporting travel security risk management issues in the business and liaison with third-party travel providers for issues relating to the region.
* Delivery of training and security awareness building at country and site levels including situational awareness, geopolitical challenges, emergency response, journey management and evacuation, supply chain security, personal and residential security, and information security.
* Organising and training crisis management teams for Operating Companies and plants within the region, and supporting crisis management execution, during crisis events.
Desired experience:
* An experienced security professional with at least 3 years’ experience in a country, regional or SME role with a multinational firm, and ability to develop a wide network of security contacts at all levels.
* Experience in some of; corporate security, investigations, intelligence, risk management, security consulting, crisis management, business continuity and interaction with law enforcement, military, other government stakeholders.
* Social skills to develop relationships and engage successfully with operations teams across the region as well as executive level leadership.
* Ability to work in a multicultural, global business environment.
* Out of the box and critical thinking, with ability and drive to work independently.
* Track record of project management and operating at all levels from the tactical to the strategic.
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including analytical report writing and development of executive presentations/briefings.
* Additional language skills to English are a benefit, especially Polish, French, Serbian.
* Well affiliated with use of Excel and other tools for statistical analysis, benchmarking, generation of graphics, KPI monitoring, etc.
* Well affiliated with MS Teams and platforms for sharing documents/databases with multiple users and incorporation of various interfaces.
* Well affiliated with intelligence gathering tools and specifically monitoring key sources/networks on social media.
* Well affiliated with opportunities/challenges to harness AI, in particular generative AI chatbots.
* The ability to travel extensively across the region, would be advantageous
