About the Role
We are looking for aTechnical Managerto lead ourTechnical Department, ensuring food safety, quality assurance, and legal compliance across our operations. You will be responsible for driving quality standards, managing laboratory quality control, liaising with farms, and providing training in food safety.
Key Responsibilities
* LeadQuality Assuranceoperations and compliance initiatives
* To providestrategic leadershipin the continuous improvement of food safety, technical compliance and culture development.
* Develop, maintain, and auditfood safety systems(HACCP)
* EnsureBRC certificationand manage external & customer audits
* Providetechnical supportfor new product development (NPD)
* Investigate and resolvecustomer complaints, driving continuous improvement
* Overseelaboratory operations, ensuring high standards are maintained
* Manage and develop theTechnical Team, including the Laboratory Manager, Quality Technician, and Farm Liaison Officer
What We’re Looking For
* Degree/HNDin a food-related subject
* Experience in FMCGand working withBRC standards
* Previous management and leadership experience
* Internal & externalauditing experience
* Strongfood safety & HACCP knowledge(minimum Level 3)
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to workindependentlywithgreat attention to detail
* Experience in thedairy/food industryis highly desirable
* Proficiency inMicrosoft Office
