Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Job Duties:
* Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
* Assist in implementing individual education plans
* Support in classroom activities and during educational outings
* Help students to develop key skills and encourage their personal growth
* Work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure students' progress
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Previous experience working with individuals with learning difficulties
Education:
Relevant certification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable
Experience:
Experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Patience and empathy towards students
Preferred Qualifications:
* Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
* First Aid training certification
Working Conditions:
This role may involve standing for long periods, assisting students with physical tasks, and working in a classroom environment. Some flexibility in working hours may be required to support educational outings or events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
