The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing accessibility improvements in various non-housing properties. Your new role
* Conduct detailed surveys of offices, commercial spaces, and other non-housing properties to assess accessibility needs.
* Develop and implement accessibility improvement plans in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accessibility considerations are integrated into design and construction processes.
* Provide expert advice on accessibility issues and best practices.
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
* Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
What you'll need to succeed
* MRICS, MCIOB, or NRAC qualifications are essential.
* Proven experience in building surveying, with a focus on accessibility schemes.
* Strong knowledge of accessibility regulations and standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
