Location -Liverpool, Merseyside As a Support Worker, you will provide essential assistance to individuals with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, mental health conditions, or elderly residents in a care home, supported living, or domiciliary setting. Your role involves promoting independence, assisting with daily activities, and offering emotional and practical support to improve the overall well-being of those in your care. Key Responsibilities: ? Personal Care & Support: Assist individuals with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting. Provide mobility support, including using hoists and assistive equipment. Support with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition. ? Health & Well-being Monitoring: Observe and report changes in individuals physical and mental well-being. Administer medication (if trained and required). Encourage individuals to attend medical appointments and follow care plans. ? Independence & Social Support: Promote independence by encouraging individuals to engage in activities and community outings. Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist with life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting. ? Record-Keeping & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents. Follow safeguarding policies and health & safety regulations. Work closely with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure appropriate support. Key Skills & Attributes: ?
