If you are able to undertake design work and coordinate with third parties such as clients, contractors, and Local Authorities this could be ideal for you. With a minimum of 7 years' postgraduate experience, the right candidate will have excellent skills in detailed analysis and modelling of drainage and highway design. Concept design with a working knowledge of design standards and good practice and experience including SUDs and cut and fill analysis. The right candidate will also have experience with FRA's, Transport Assessments and have detailed knowledge of the Section Agreements 38, 278, 184, 185, 104 and 106. Requirements: Technical experience within the field of Civil Engineering design, covering several aspects of preliminary and detailed design of levels, drainage, and external works An aptitude using our industry standard design software packages AutoCAD, Civil 3D You will understand the multi-disciplinary nature of projects from planning stage, through to completion and a willingness to understand more about other discipline roles on projects Experience liaising with both internal and external bodies, including planning authorities, statutory undertakers, and national bodies such as the Environment Agency Residential Estate Roads, Commercial / Industrial Access, and External A Ground Modelling / Earthworks Design to include geotechnical and environmental appraisal.
