Registered Care Home Manager Learning Disability Services Location: Bristol, BS10 Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (plus participation in an on-call rota) Are you an experienced leader in health and social care, passionate about delivering high-quality support to adults with learning disabilities? We are looking for a dedicated Registered Care Home Manager to oversee supported living and domiciliary care services, ensuring exceptional care standards and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a high-quality, person-centred service for adults with learning disabilities. Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, applying for registration within the probation period. Work closely with health and social care commissioners to develop and maintain service contracts. Oversee budgets, staffing rotas, and operational efficiency. Promote a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment for both service users and staff. Maintain high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding within the service. The person: Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a similar setting. A strong background working with adults with complex needs. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete). Passionate about delivering person-centred care and positive behavioural support. Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and current legislation in learning disability care. Ability to manage budgets, audits, and service development effectively. Adaptable, flexible and conscientious with strong communication skills.
