Your new roleYour new role will include but not be limited to:
* Preparation of all pre-determined month-end duties including journal posting and accruals.
* Royalty calculation.
* Preparation of profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, forecasts, weekly cashflow forecast
* Monthly stock accounts reconciliation.
* Monthly reconciliation of stock accounts and allocation.
* Monthly reconciliation of Inter-Company accounts.
* To review and analyse monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Monthly spend reconciliation.
* Bank Reconciliations.
* Commission calculations.
* Payroll Analysis.
* Creation of profit and loss for Europe
* Checking other members of the teams work.
* Ad hoc Management reporting
* Ad hoc duties to cover holidays and sickness
* Project management / involvement as determined by business requirements and Head of European Finance.
* Quarterly AR reconciliation
* Cost Savings analysis
* Preparation of tax returns
* Preparation of VAT returns
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified accountant in the professional bodies of ACCA/CIMA/ACA
* To regularly update accounting knowledge to keep a breast of current changes in legislation
* Excel to a high level.
* Word to an intermediate level.
* PowerPoint.
