Secretary Location: Near Towcester Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Job Type: Temporary or Permanent, Immediate Start We are seeking a skilled Secretary who excels in audio typing and has experience handling confidential and sensitive documents. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Day-to-day of the role: Take and transcribe dictations accurately. Audio type various letters and legal documents, ensuring content, accuracy, and completeness. Prepare confidential and sensitive documents with discretion. Handle scanning and photocopying as requested by Fee Earners. Manage collating and franking of post. Deal with incoming telephone calls, noting the time and date of messages. Book appointments for clients to attend the office. Assist Fee Earners and other staff members as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality of client records at all times. Undertake any other duties as reasonably required, adapting to changes and prioritising workload effectively. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience as a secretary or Personal Assistant is desirable. Demonstrable fast audio typing speed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential. IT literate with excellent communication skills. Ability to handle workload under minimum supervision. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Efficient time management skills.
