The Service Manager is an integral part of the overall Divisional management structure and will work closely with the General Manager to support the development of the division, including performance, management of day to day service issues, and progression with service transformation workstreams. Main duties of the job Provide operational support to the General Manager to include day to day operational duties as well as service transformation initiatives. Coordinate effectively to ensure safe and effective operational delivery of the service, delegating responsibilities as appropriate. The post holder will manage processes by using initiative in the absence of senior managers to ensure any concerns or issues are appropriately managed. Plan and organise operational functions within the service to deliver efficient structures and processes to meet service targets, whilst demonstrating appropriate influencing skills with supporting departments to ensure the needs of the service are met, including coordination of internal and external activities and escalation as appropriate to the senior leadership team.
