David Lock Associates is looking for enthusiastic and experienced individuals who are passionate about creating and delivering great places, and motivated by the opportunity to shape, secure and deliver new development.
Working alongside our exceptional masterplanning, urban design, mapping and graphic communications teams, you will have the chance to apply your creative thinking, problem-solving and breadth of skills to deliver great outcomes for our wide range of projects and clients.
We are looking for chartered planners with relevant experience in either the private or public sector and demonstrable and transferable skills within the following areas, in particular:
• Preparation and negotiation of development proposals (particularly residential-led and/or commercial/mixed use planning applications);
• Negotiating planning permissions, conditions and s106 agreements;
• Policy and plan-making activity;
• Shaping promotion strategies for development projects; and
• Working as part of multi-disciplinary teams and to help co-ordinate design and engineering outputs to put development on the ground.
