Community and Social Media Executive
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £35,240 p/a (starting salary), plus an excellent benefits package
Location: London, Hybrid working available
Are you up to date with current social media trends? Do you have a passion for building online communities by creating and delivering great content? Then this role is for you.
The Role:
This new role will play a crucial part in managing and developing our client’s new online community platform. You’ll make sure that their members have a positive, respectful, and supportive space to discuss the subjects that matter to them.
You’ll also play a key role in managing our client’s social media presence. You’ll develop and deliver content plans, using your skills to grow audiences and foster deep engagement. As well as commissioning and creating your own content, you’ll use other techniques like content swaps, collaborations, and user generated content to achieve these aims.
You’ll be part of a small, but highly engaged and effective marketing communications team. You’ll work closely with them to make sure that our client’s values, news, and commercial offerings are part of the community and social content mix.
To be shortlisted for this post, you must have:
1. Experience of managing online communities – especially those of a technical or specialist nature
2. A creative eye for what works on social media and knowing current trends
3. Experience of developing content plans
4. Experience of working across multiple social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook, and video platforms, such as TikTok and YouTube
5. Experience of regular reporting on community and social channel performance
6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Working Conditions:
Our client is based on the edge of the city, their office is bright, modern and open plan. They are an inclusive and friendly workforce. They are presently operating a working model of office based and remote working and envisage operating a longer-term hybrid working model.
