Key Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Planning and scheduling calibrated tooling/equipment
2. Collection, processing and delivering of tooling/equipment
3. Inspection of Precision Termination Equipment
4. Ability to read, analyse and interpret calibration certificates
5. Raising the correct paperwork for failures/adjustments and following it through to completion
6. Keeping the correct registers and portals/systems up to date
7. Completing documentation in accordance with Company procedures
8. Liaising with the Calibration House enquiries
9. Liaising with the tool stores, GSE Controller and other relevant Departments on site
10. Supporting the GSE Controller and Tooling Controller when they are out of the business
11. Inspections of GSE Equipment if required (Limited)
12. Full compliance and understanding of the Quality Management System
13. Ensuring timely action to achieve desired output
14. Actively participating in Continuous Improvement activities
15. Demonstrating a flexible approach to meet the needs of the task
16. Promoting best practice, reporting bad practice and non-compliance, and taking preventative action to ensure continual improvement in the organization
17. Complying with all relevant Health, Safety and Environment regulations and exercising a Duty of Care promoting a positive approach towards workplace health and safety
18. Adhering and championing company policies i.e. Diversity, Dignity and Respect at work
19. Attending training courses when nominated
20. General duties as required, housekeeping etc., and other responsibilities as allocated by the management team

Functional:
Essential
1. Working Knowledge of Calibration Testing Equipment and Tooling
2. Understanding of Uncertainty of Measurement
3. Computer literate – MS Excel, MS Word
Desirable
1. Familiar with Navixa, Shire, TC Max and Workflow
Organisational Relationships:
1. Actively promotes and encourages co-operation within a team and helps and supports others to achieve team goals
2. Being able to communicate with Internal and External Customers/Suppliers
Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:
Essential
1. Apprenticeship or BTEC/HNC in a mechanical discipline
Desirable
1. City & Guilds in a Mechanical discipline
Experience:
1. Experience in the use of measuring equipment in an Engineering Environment
2. Experience in planning/scheduling in a Maintenance Company
