Must be accustomed to dealing with PICU and/or acute environments for the past 18 months as the acute ward deals with: Personality disorder Bipolar disorder Psychosis Complex needs and self-harm Fast paced environment with a chance for progression with the right mindset - great opportunity to expand your knowledge and progress to the top Crisis Management: Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise care in high-stress environments. Skilled in de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution. Clinical Skills: Administering medication Experience in emergency response Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams. Skilled in non-verbal communication and active listening - crucial for mental health nursing Teamwork and Leadership: Collaborative approach to working with multi-professional teams.
